Waterways
The Algonquians lived close to lakes and oceans. Those are lake Huron, lake Superior, St Lawrence river and the Atlantic ocean. These were used to fish in get water from and bathe in. The Atlantic ocean and St Lawrence river was not used to drink from because they is salt water and they would get very sick if they drank it to much. Also the Atlantic ocean can have the temperature down to 1C and about 33F. It can also have a high of 10C and about 45F. So the Algonquians would have to get used to the water if they were to bathe in it.
